Pasadena Memorial had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the North Shore Mustangs on Saturday. The Mavericks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Erika Cantu paced Pasadena Memorial's offense, picking up five kills. Cantu got some help from Savannah Lott and her six assists. Amerie Deleon controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Pasadena Memorial's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for North Shore, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Pasadena Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Robert Lee on the 23rd.
