South Fork started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-18.
Logan Wiggins paced South Fork's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wiggins got some help from Charles Connelly and his 28 assists. Finally, Connelly was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.
Among those leading the charge was Chris Rute, who had five aces and four digs. What's more, he posted two assists, the most he's had since back in February. Kai Quinn also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.
South Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Jupiter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-8.
