St. Bede had won five straight games and Lili McClain did her part to make it six on Friday. The St. Bede Bruins ended the year with a bang, routing the Orion Chargers 54-34 thanks in part to McClain, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points and three steals. Her afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Ehm, who posted six points in addition to six assists and five boards. Those six assists gave her a new career-high.

St. Bede has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Orion, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

St. Bede wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-36 win against Fieldcrest on the 28th. As for Orion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 39-29 loss against Serena on the 28th.
