When it comes to explaining why Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame lost, one person who can't be blamed is Annelise Curran. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 35 points and 13 steals. That was a full 68.6% of Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cecelia Wallblom, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame has not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Northport, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.
