The Millard West Wildcats can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They really took it to Westview for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-33 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Millard West sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Millard West's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kylee Paben, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Hansen, who scored 15 points.
Millard West's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Westview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
Millard West will head out on the road to take on Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Millard West's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. As for Westview, they will be playing at home against Bryan at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Bryan comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 11 points in their last 17 games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
