Lone Oak can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Prairiland 43-29. The victory was just what Lone Oak needed coming off of a 53-18 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Chisum came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Prairiland 59-26 at home. The victory was just what Chisum needed coming off of a 55-28 defeat in their prior game.
Chisum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Bradberry led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Atnip, who scored 17 points along with five steals.
Lone Oak's victory bumped their record up to 7-20. As for Chisum, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-17.
Lone Oak strolled past the Mustangs in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 53-36. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Chisum's Emma Garner, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 16 rebounds.
