Korba Posts Huge Game in 29-16 Loss
Peru was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Isaiah Korba did his best to prevent it. Korba was dynamite, rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 52 yards.
Peru dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Korba and Peru will challenge Manchester on Friday.

Aiden Robinson Turns in Season-Best Effort
Maconaquah was led to victory by Aiden Robinson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Robinson wasn't messing around, throwing for 376 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes. The match was his sixth straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
The victory for Maconaquah keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1. Robinson and Maconaquah will be playing at home against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Marcell Sims's big game helped extend Maconaquah's winning streak to six on Friday. Wabash had no answer to Sims as he picked up 178 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown. Sims torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.
On the season, Sims has caught those 2 touchdowns while averaging 38.1 receiving yards per game.

Big Game from Beck As Rochester Won 29-0
Brant Beck was instrumental in extending Rochester's winning streak to six on Friday. Beck turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Beck must have Southwood's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Beck rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in October of 2023.
