Trabuco Hills played a tough  matchup  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Capistrano Valley Cougars 41-7. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Despite the final result, he rushed for 54 yards and one  touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 186 yards  on 21 of 32 attempts. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 66 yards.  Brody Saavedra was another key player, picking up 72 receiving yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
Trabuco Hills' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Capistrano Valley, the  win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
 Trabuco Hills has already played their next contest,  a  28-7  victory against Cypress on the 24th. As for Capistrano Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  30-14  win against El Modena on the 23rd.
