The Highlands Christian Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Jupiter Christian Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Highlands Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Jupiter Christian likes a good challenge.
Highlands Christian's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Lake Worth Christian with a sharp 14-0 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Defenders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Sage Chartier made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.
In other pitching news, John Elwell looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.
Back at the plate, Steven Perals was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has become a key player for Highlands Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Matthew Friedman, who scored three runs and stole Four bases.
Meanwhile, Jupiter Christian didn't have quite enough to beat King's Academy on Thursday and fell 5-3. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.
Jupiter Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Troy Spano, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Spano is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Matthew Schulz was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Highlands Christian pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Jupiter Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Highlands Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jupiter Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
