That was a full 36.7% of Wayne County's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Sayler Skelton was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Collinwood had to endure an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They enjoyed a cozy 53-38 win over Hughes on Friday. That 15 points margin sets a new team best for Collinwood this season.
Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Collinwood, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-9.
Wayne County strolled past Collinwood in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 71-57. Will Wayne County repeat their success, or does Collinwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
