In what's become a running theme this season, the Real Life Christian Academy Raptors gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 90-44 victory over Crossroads Christian. The victory was familiar territory for Real Life Christian Academy who now have nine in a row.
Real Life Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leewood Whitfield, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 assists. It was the first time this season that Whitfield posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Alex Patterson, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Real Life Christian Academy pushed their record up to 19-3 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Crossroads Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
