After three games on the road, Columbia is heading back home. They will take on Lancaster Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Sunday, Columbia came up short against Severn School and fell 65-52. While losing is never fun, Columbia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 206th in Pennsylvania, while Severn School is ranked 24th in Maryland).
Meanwhile, Lancaster Country Day entered their tilt with Lancaster County Christian with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Lancaster Country Day came out on top against Lancaster County Christian by a score of 46-34 on Saturday.
Columbia's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4. As for Lancaster Country Day, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Everything came up roses for Columbia against Lancaster Country Day when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 80-50 victory. Will Columbia repeat their success, or does Lancaster Country Day have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
