Ringgold waltzed into Friday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 21-7 win over Gordon Lee.
Meanwhile, Wesleyan can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 42-20 margin over Pickens. Wesleyan pushed the score to 42-13 by the end of the third, a deficit Pickens cut but never quite recovered from.
Wesleyan relied on the efforts of Jamie Tremble, who picked up 168 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and Ben Brown, who threw for 289 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.
Ringgold's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Wesleyan, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
