The Dibble Demons had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 47 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They blew past Stratford 40-20. The result was nothing new for Dibble, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dibble to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jag Norman, who rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Norman is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played. Austin Maddox did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 137 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Dibble's victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 45 points. As for Stratford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Dibble will be playing at home against Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wayne is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Stratford, they will head out on the road to face off against Rush Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Rush Springs is ranked 246th, while Stratford is ranked 236th).
