The ThunderRidge Grizzlies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Highlands Ranch with a sharp 88-64 victory. The victory was familiar territory for ThunderRidge who now have ten in a row.
ThunderRidge was led to victory by Tommy Wight and Charlie Spann. Wight scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Spann dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Spann has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Crawford, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
ThunderRidge's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points per game. As for Highlands Ranch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ThunderRidge will take on Douglas County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Douglas County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests. As for Highlands Ranch, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Heritage focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday.
