When it comes to explaining why Leroy Greene Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cobee Wesley. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points. Wesley scored a full 66.7% of Leroy Greene Academy's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Leroy Greene Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Kennedy will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Kennedy likes a good challenge. As for Leroy Greene Academy, they will take on Millennium at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Millennium focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
