Gannon Boggs, Winfield's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Boggs turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 178 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Winfield: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

Coming up, Boggs and Winfield are taking a road trip to challenge Shady Spring at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will enter the matchup having just beaten Liberty, so the Generals will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
