Hillcrest is 1-9 against Bonneville since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Knights will head out on the road to take on the Bees at 3:30 p.m. Hillcrest has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mason Reichelt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with four stolen bases and two runs. Hillcrest is 2-1 when Reichelt posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-10 otherwise. Oaklen Lawrence was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bonneville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Skyline with a sharp 11-1 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bees, who have now won 12 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Carter Bowen spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Coltan Spagnuolo was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Greyson Martin, who went 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base.
Bonneville pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hillcrest has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bonneville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hillcrest skirted past Bonneville 3-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
