The Natchez Bulldogs lost to the Provine Rams back in September of 2016, but The Natchez Bulldogs didn't allow the Provine Rams the same satisfaction on Friday. Natchez came out on top against Provine by a score of 30-18.
Natchez can attribute much of their success to Je'kari Douglas, who picked up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Ken Chatman, who picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Natchez has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. As for Provine, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Natchez will head out on the road to face off against Brookhaven at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brookhaven is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Provine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Florence will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
