On Friday Max Hipp didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. The performance also marked the fewest hits (three) Hipp has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two walks. This year, he has an ERA of .91 over 15.3 innings pitched.
