Basketball Recap: Big Piney's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Big Piney entered their tilt with Farson-Eden on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 75-66 victory over the Farson-Eden Pronghorns. This was a revenge game for the Punchers: when they faced off against the Pronghorns back in January, they had to take a 59-42 defeat.

Big Piney's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points over those games. As for Farson-Eden, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Big Piney will take on Kemmerer at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Big Piney knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Kemmerer likes a good challenge. As for Farson-Eden, they are taking a road trip to square off against HEM at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
