The Palmer Dragons can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 63-55 win over Clarksdale. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Clarksdale's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jumon Brown, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Howard, who scored 12 points.
Palmer pushed their record up to 2-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Clarksdale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmer's road trip will continue as they head out to face Leflore County at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Leflore County is ranked 263rd, while Palmer is ranked 244th). As for Clarksdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Cleveland Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
