Dimond is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: Eagle River, who was ranked 24th at the time (Dimond was ranked seventh). Caleb Cooke and Drew Dittman made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Cooke tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Dittman tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, Cooke posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in June of 2025. Those two stolen bases gave Willis a new career-high. Jackson Madden was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
