The Timpanogos Timberwolves lost against the Layton Christian Academy Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Timpanogos was dealt a 72-44 loss at the hands of Layton Christian Academy. Timpanogos has not had much luck with Layton Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Timpanogos' loss came despite strong showings from Steven LaPray and Jack Johnson. LaPray scored 23 points, while Johnson scored eight points along with four steals.
Layton Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Otavio Armani out in front who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Albert Philippe Ntungicimpaye, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Timpanogos has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season. As for Layton Christian Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.
Timpanogos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Layton Christian Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
