The North Baltimore Tigers will challenge the Ridgedale Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Baltimore comes in on six and Ridgedale on four.
While North Baltimore didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Perry with a sharp 11-1 win on Monday. Considering the Tigers have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Brynlee Schmidt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Jessica Trout was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Olivia Busch, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
North Baltimore kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Ridgedale beat Hardin Northern 4-1 on Monday.
Kenzie Delaney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, Ridgedale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brenda Scott, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
North Baltimore pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Ridgedale, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Ridgedale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: North Baltimore has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463. It's a different story for Ridgedale, though, as they've only averaged .346. Will they be able to contain North Baltimore's hitters?
North Baltimore suffered a grim 14-4 defeat to Ridgedale in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Tigers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
