Walker waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Atlanta International Eagles 86-30. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 24 points or more this season.
Walker got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Xavier Berry out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten assists. Berry has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Lorenzo McCorvey, who made all 9 shots he took to post 19 points and five rebounds.
Berry wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Walker was working as a unit and finished the game with 31 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Atlanta International only racked up eight assists.
Atlanta International lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Oscar Garcia-Ide, who posted six points and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Pemberton, who put up seven points.
Walker pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.
