After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Powell, Carter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Northview Academy Cougars as they made off with a 15-5 win. The victory continues a trend for the Green Hornets in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won eight in a row.
Jenna Wilson made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Wilson was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
