Last Monday, Sturgis West was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 51-46 to Upper Cape Cod RVT.
Meanwhile, St. John Paul II pushed their score all the way to 62 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Neighborhood House Charter.
Sturgis West has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for St. John Paul II, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
Sturgis West didn't have too much breathing room in their match against St. John Paul II in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 34-30 victory.
