East Ascension pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for St. Joseph's Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
