Halifax Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Halifax Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Halifax Academy posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past Faith Christian, posting a 47-18 victory on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Halifax Academy has posted against Faith Christian since February 9, 2018.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Halifax Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karson Ricks, who scored 12 points along with nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Corum, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Harrells Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They blew past Southeastern Christian Academy 58-24 on the road.
The victory got Halifax Academy back to even at 7-7. As for Harrells Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
Halifax Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Harrells Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 46-42 victory.
