Defeat or not, Genesee got some senior leadership from Aiden Croak and Connor Rouse. Croak dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Rouse. scored 17 points along with two steals. Croak is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight.
Meanwhile, Morrice's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Corunna 63-22.
Genesee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Morrice, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-13.
