Delaware Christian had a senior duo take command as Julia Pearch posted 13 points along with six boards and five assists and Addy Beard scored 17 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Pearch has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Brooke Huffman, who put up 11 points and seven rebounds.
Delaware Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Millersport only six assists.
Despite the defeat, Millersport saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lilly Atkinson almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine boards. Atkinson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Schilling, who had six points.
Delaware Christian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.2 points. As for Millersport, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
Delaware Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 36-23 victory against Wellington School on the 21st. Millersport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
