Castle extended the longest winning streak in Southern Indiana this week by beating Floyd Central, 56-12. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Knights.
Reitz took down Madison 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Reitz Memorial's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dane Hurley threw for 203 yards and McKinley Warren had 59 yards receiving. On the ground Warren chipped in 74 yards. Charlie Grief helped Reitz Memorial's passing attack out by catching one ball for 48 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Hurley of the Tigers is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1127. He has also thrown seven touchdowns. On the ground, Bosse's Carringtan Crutcher has rushed for 969 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Arius Carter. The Bosse star has 19 catches for 322 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Panthers take on Evansville Central. Reitz is in third place, while the Bears are in fourth place.
Reitz Memorial made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,412 from 5,628. The improvement came about via a 47-3 victory over Princeton last week.
