Central waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the McClintock Chargers 80-51. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 26 points or more this season.

Central was led to victory by John Mattingly and Grant Mattingly. John went 9 for 17 on his way to 27 points and seven boards, while Grant went 8 of 12 en route to 17 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. John's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Anthony Maciel also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Despite the loss, McClintock still got an impressive performance from Joshua Mcmanaway, who went 8 for 15 en route to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kyler Frye, who posted 14 points and seven assists.

Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.4 points. As for McClintock, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Central has already played their next contest, an 81-36 win against Washington on the 15th. As for McClintock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-59 victory against Fairfax on the 13th.
