3A Western Slope Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played on Thursday and Friday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Mason Markovich Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Glenwood Springs's Mason Markovich, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Markovich made ten total tackles (4.0 for loss), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.
Markovich and Glenwood Springs have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Eagle Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Demons had to take a loss when they last met the Devils, but Markovich had little to do with the loss: he forced a fumble and made 11 total tackles. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
