The Agua Dulce Longhorns waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They took down Ben Bolt 36-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Agua Dulce also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Avery Calvez was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Vinton, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Agua Dulce has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Ben Bolt, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-16.
Agua Dulce will head out on the road to face off against Premont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ben Bolt, they will be playing at home against La Villa at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. La Villa is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
