Salem Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Kennedy on Wednesday. The Crusaders put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 14-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Crusaders in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won four in a row.

Salem Academy's record is now 4-2. As for Kennedy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Salem Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Colton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennedy, they will head out to face off against Perrydale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
