Fort Walton Beach waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Trimble County Raiders get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory.

Jacob Salley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. He also brought in three RBI, which is notable because Fort Walton Beach is 3-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 8-10 otherwise.

In other batting news, Lavin McDaniel was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Fort Walton Beach is undefeated when McDaniel posts two or more runs, but 5-11 otherwise. Caden Job also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The win got Fort Walton Beach back to even at 11-11. As for Trimble County, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Fort Walton Beach will take on Choctawhatchee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trimble County, they will challenge Van Buren at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Black Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
