Old Suwanee Christian's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jon Rojas, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds, and Amari Chatman, who dropped a triple-double on 20 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. It was the first time this season that Chatman posted eight or more assists. Devin Courtney was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Promise Prepatory Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They fell to White Creek Christian Academy 52-47.
Old Suwanee Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.4 points per game. As for Promise Prepatory Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
