Tanner needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Azaylia Douglas. The Rattlers came out on top against the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions by a score of 35-25 on Tuesday thanks in part to Douglas, who posted six points and 18 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Tanner's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Tanner will venture away from home to take on Elkmont at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Falkville at 4:15 p.m. on January 3, 2026.
