After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carolina Forest, the Carvers Bay Bears were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took down Waccamaw 51-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Carvers Bay also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Carvers Bay can attribute much of their success to Jasmyn Jenkins, who scored 21 points along with 6 steals. Jerchel Geathers-Washington was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 7 rebounds.
Carvers Bay's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Waccamaw, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Carvers Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake View at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waccamaw, they will head out on the road to face off against Philip Simmons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
