Mashpee lost to Cohasset 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Robert Andrade ran for 71 yards and caught 1 pass for 11 yards in the loss.
Hull made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,963 from 12,303. The improvement was the result of a 36-12 victory over Monomoy last week.
Mashpee's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nick Carpenter threw for 49 yards and Jake Martini had 23 yards receiving. On the ground Andrade chipped in 71 yards. Domenic Cassell helped Mashpee's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.
Matt Triveri's team's dynamic duo of Carpenter and Martini proved tough for the Skippers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Cassell helped Mashpee's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 15 yards.
Andrade provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Falcons fell to Cohasset.
Pete Afanasiw's team's Chris Haggerty and Liam Burke have formed a dream team this season, leading South Shore - Small in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Haggerty has thrown for 601 yards this season, while Burke has 9 catches for 240 yards. Andrade from Mashpee leads the league in rushing with 660 yards.
The Sharks are in fourth place, while the Pirates are in third place.
The Skippers led the league in scoring this week by notching 42 points on the Falcons. Danny Tangherlini in the win.
