Denver West had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victor by a 35-15 margin over the Prospect Ridge Academy Miners on Friday.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denver West will head out to square off against Englewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Englewood focused on turnovers this week as team gave up four last Thursday. As for Prospect Ridge Academy, they are taking a road trip to face off against Manitou Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prospect Ridge Academy will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
