Basketball Game Preview: Riverstone International Otters vs. Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies

Riverstone International is 9-1 against Greenleaf Friends Academy since February of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Riverstone International Otters will look to defend their home court against the Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. Riverstone International is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Tuesday, Riverstone International was able to grind out a solid win over Victory Charter, taking the game 60-52.

Riverstone International's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Conrad Ness, who went 8 of 18 on his way to 19 points. That's the most points Ness has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Amer Sangha, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, Greenleaf Friends Academy played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Garden Valley an easy 51-31 win. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Greenleaf Friends Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Riverstone International, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Everything came up roses for Riverstone International against Greenleaf Friends Academy when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 74-22 win.
