West Jessamine won against Henry Clay  last Wednesday with nine  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Sunday. The West Jessamine Colts walked away with  a   9-4  win over the Owensboro Red Devils. The  victory was nothing new for West Jessamine as they're now sitting on three straight.
 The team  relied heavily on  Madison Green, who  fired off two  home runs and five  RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Hailey Corman, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 West Jessamine's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Owensboro,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-4.
 West Jessamine didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  victory vs. Muhlenberg County on the 1st. As for Owensboro, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Owensboro Catholic at 5:30  p.m.  on April 11th.
