There's no place like home for Banning, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rancho Dominguez Lobos a 16-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Pilots, who have now won nine matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Alina Argueta was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Ari Dominguez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Banning kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 21 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive games.
