Montpelier came out on top against North Central on Friday thanks in part to Gavyn Bass's efforts. Bass posted seven points and nine rebounds, good enough to set a new career-high in boards in the process.

Looking ahead, Bass and Montpelier will square off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Montpelier has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since December of 2014, but a win here would be a good start.
