The Patriot Prep Academy Eagles stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on Granville Christian Academy with a sharp 61-36 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Patriot Prep Academy has posted since December 4, 2023.
Patriot Prep Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dominic Sammons, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Sammons hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Patriot Prep Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Granville Christian Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patriot Prep Academy will take on Horizon Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Granville Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Tree of Life Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Tree of Life Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Tuesday.
