Silver Creek entered their tilt with Frederick on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 9-5. That's more bragging rights for the Raptors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Noah Richardson tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Silver Creek got a big performance out of Nate Spiegel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Spiegel has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathen Canfield, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Silver Creek hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Silver Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Frederick, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will face off against Centaurus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frederick, they will square off against Niwot at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Golden Eagles are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
