Murfreesboro had won six straight road games dating back to last season and Liam Eoff did his part to make it seven on Friday. Everything went the Rattlers' way against the Lafayette County Cougars as they made off with a 54-34 win for which the team can thank Eoff, who picked up 90 receiving yards and one TD. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 50 yards.
Despite the loss, Lafayette County still got an impressive performance from Jordan Walters, who rushed for 211 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Murfreesboro's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lafayette County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
